No, But I love the idea of building a full trick KR1 with modern upside downs and lightweight 17" rims. Over here in OZ they are pretty rare but. cheers.

Meant to be the fastest of all the production 250's and on par with zxr400 speeds apparently?, had ring peg problems initially which Kawasaki erradicated with a new design. Handle on rails and generally very good bikes, would love one me.

This is the one I've been offered for peanuts...

I like it, but it might end up with ZXR400 bits all over it, although it is nearly mint, at least from this side. LEft hand side is a but scuffed.

Seems a common and sucessful route to improve the running gear on them :). Check the Kr1s forum for some more info.

I saw one on Bike Trader UK last year for £750 t & t. Came very close to buying it.
Action is the antidote to despair.

snap it up, and keep it as standard as poss, they are an appreciating machine, imho!!
