what's planned
the colder icy weather is here and the bikes are no doubt put away for most of us, so what you got planned for the bikes over the winter months?

Re: what's planned
Put the dual seat back on the ZXR , fit a 14mm rear master (maybe today) , update the brake lines , got an offer on some oil lines , have an earls oil cooler that might fit, change rearsets, just about finished the f3 exhaust , make CDI patch lead for f3 CDI, fit new pulsar , fit BEET side casing, strip out a set of SP L forks and see what can be used in the H's, Strip 3 engines down and re-build two.
That should take care of January
ZRX is getting the front end taken off and a new USD set-up put on
ferck about with the jetting cause it's winter
strip 2 engines and re-build a 600cc big bore with ZZR bottom end then re-build other for when that one goes bang
Not much really

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Re: what's planned
Im still riding mine
Friday last week i had to get a lift from the boss at work, got half way to work and slipped on the ice and called it a day. Yesterday i managed all the way and today it looks safer as its been raining and melted most of the snow on the road.

Re: what's planned
cars have been ok so far, its just under 4 miles from work and i leave at 1.30am so theres no cars about, except maybe on a friday morning when the clubs have kicked everyone out. Its also my only mode of transport, so i have to ride really; If i dont work i dont get paid.

Re: what's planned
I retired mine last night after a couple of rather hairy journeys to and from work yesterday. Now I'm on holiday and think the bike will be staying put until (hopefully) all the ice has gone...
To be honest, if I could have avoided it, I'd have taken taxis instead. The main roads were fine but anywhere off them was sheet ice that was slicker than a slugs tampon. Hope you keep it the right way up and stay safe Rob!
Here's yesterday morning after spending the best part of an hour getting my locks off:

Re: what's planned
Well just got mine into the garage with a bit of a struggle but I'll be rebuilding mine after an off I had a couple of weekends ago!!

Haven't really had chance to look over it properly yet still going through the insurance and not sure what is happening yet. If in doubt it will be my wet bike for racing next year.

Re: what's planned
Some bloke jumped out in front of me, slammed the brakes on and front tyre slipped away from me. The bike went to the right hit a kerb and slid down the road meantime I slid towards the underneath of the blokes van only for me tucking up and hitting his rear tyre!

Re: what's planned
Ive got a brand new bike to build.
Im going L next year, and cant wait.
new build from the bearings up. new paint scheme as white has brought me nothing but bad luck this year!
best of all, proper sorted suspension for this one!

Re: what's planned
Im not the most bike literate person so I bought a load of books about bike maintanence, how they work etc. getting some tools and going to pull some things apart, learn some shizzile then put them back together again, hopefully making improvements along the way . Im looking forward to it.
Merry Christmas
