ZXR400 project.
Vanman is listing Wakka for £500 - I sold it to him for £350 before Xmas, he's done nothing to it apart from wash it, just making a quick buck.
When he bought it i sold it after he sspan me a line about getting it up and running and I asked for first refusal if he did want to sell it.
and I believed him, because I am a nice person and believe that others should be nice and trusting too.
found his advert, he didn't even offer it to me first.
I offered to buy it back for what he paid for it and he has declined my offer. Not in a nice way, either.
I just hate it when people think they can make a quick buck for doing sod all -
so don't line his pockets, guys. There are much better ZXRs out there for a little more cash.

bloody bargain at £350 wished i'd bought the bugger now
bit naughty not letting you buy it back at the same price as he promised you first refusal, why's it up for sale soo soon then?

Nice one for the heads up Wonderpup! Was looking into that and was quite interested in it in fact.
When you sold it to him was it ever dropped at all, also I asked about the fairings as a pic he had showed it not properly fitted said that it fits fine but was just loosely fitted (surprisingly the pic has been taken off
lol)

I didnt know there was a spare engine with it just thought it was only the one which had a head gasket that needed replacing.

Re: ZXR400 project.
Interesting thread.
I know for sure of one other on the forum who is a motorcyle trader or who runs or works for a motorcycle shop/dealer.......................
A little honesty now and then would be a good thing.

Oh I'll not be naming him or her...............but trying to buy parts on the cheap to sell on is not fair or right.................... worse still is telling half truths in order to get those parts................
When I sell to guys on here it's because I'm happy to see a ZXR owner getting the part he needs for his bike at a fair price for both of us..................

Re: ZXR400 project.
Ok let me get things clear
I am not a dealer trying to make a quick buck
I bought the bike in good faith from wonderpupp who had advertised it on this site for near my asking price
She was happy at the time with the price i offerd her for it , nobody made her take it
At the time work was fine for me and money was good so a project to have as a second bike for me was a good idea
A lack of work and bills and a mortgage to pay means the bike is up for sale
I am not trying to fob or rip anyone off just being honest the bike is in the same condition in which i bought it but a lot cleaner
I have recently sold my supermoto to a lad near me and a couple of months later he had it up for sale for more than i sold it for , I didnt cry about it or scupper his sale he had his own reason for selling
Hope this clears things up a bit
