Bike Cutting Out

Hi all wondering if you can help me here, recently had problems with my bike starting up found out it was the battery so i had it replaced so now fires up fine but a couple of times, my bike will cut out and the fan automatically kicks in straight after, it happened several times to me yesterday, i looked at the temp gauge and it wasnt even hot! it seems to be when i stop at traffic lights or am stuck in traffic when it decides to cut out, but it will start up fine straigh away, any ideas?

Bumping this because i'm having exactly the same issue with cutting out when slowing to a stop etc.

cutting out when you stop often means it's running rich. Dunno about the fan kicking in though
