Hello everyone, I have been avidly reading around in the forum for a number of years picking up things here and there. I've put 45tkm (totaling almost 60tkm) on my Engine of an L3 and have bought a replacement with 12200km I'll be inspecting and installing. That means I'll have my fully functioning (except head gasket) L3 Engine to play with.
I've come across the Racing Kit manual in the downloads section and find it incredibly interesting and would like to try some of the techniques out on my L3 engine. Now the question: I know the H and L engine are similar, but can I apply the changes outlines in the manual (for the H engine) to my L? Does a similar manual even exist for the L or at least a supplement with changes for the L engine? I'd be very grateful if someone could roughly outline what to look out for when using this H manual on the L engine. Thanks in advance.

Re: L3 and H Engine setup
Hi ND,
The engines are identical except for how the thermostat housing sits.
If you look for my post about F3 tuning you can see the scanned sheets for the 91~ SP model race modifications , basically the same as outlined in the ~90 except the CDI and pulsar were changed.
My crank is now finished so i will be doing a rebuild thread fairly soon of a hybrid motor I'm making - no not electric!
ATB,
MM!

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !
