Hi there, I really need help.. I've just bought a 1992 zxr 400 L model with a Denso "M" model cdi (blue sticker) and now I find a sp Cdi unit (mitsubishi with no sticker on front), so I'm trying to understand if I could mount the sp cdi unit on the bike with no problem, or if I need some other stuff (SP igniter rotor? loom?).
Could you please tell me something more about this? The only sp cdi give a really advance in performance compare to the original one? And if I would anticipate of 3-4 degree the original rotor, is possible or not without changing parts?
Thank you very very much.
Cheers

You can only run the SP CDi with the SP loom and rotor. The SP loom also has a throttle position sensor connector ( The sp had flatslide carbs) and I don't know if the engine will run properly if the TPs circuit isn't closed.
