Borrowing a standard motor as mine is being rebuilt, does anyone know what jets to use with standard engine running ram air and an mhp ti exhaust?
Thanks in advance

Re: jets????
hi, there is no correct answer as each bike/carbs will be slightly different, however a good starting point would be 110 mains, mixture screwws 3 turns out. some dyno time would make set up much easier and safer.
good luck

Re: jets????
Hi mate, I would go with 108's or even 105's with a standard motor. I used 108's with my spare motor (mild tune) at Anglesey last month and that was slightly rich, but ran ok. Mixture screws 3 turns out and air correctors blocked off of course.

Re: jets????
cheers boys.
The motor is going in tonight so going to give your anglesey set up on the mild tune a go first Al. Will let you know how I get on. Was it the anglesey grand you did?
Thanks again to both of you for the help!

Re: jets????
I ran my standard engine with ram air, full micron, blocked air correctors, standard neddles and 112.5 Kehins.
As someone already said it'll be different for each bike but this might give you a rough idea.
With unblocked air correctors 132.5 Kehins will get you in the right ball park. Then dyno time to tweak.
