Hi all, ive recently bought a ZXR400 H model 1989, which i love to bits. Its a bit rough around the edges and im looking to give it some TLC.
My mechanic mate is dealing with the mechanics and im gonna have a go at the cosmetics. Im skint though so ive gotta do it on a tight budget- theres some cracks and scuffs in most panels, nothing too much just enough to keep me amused!
My main problem is damage to some of the fixing points. Its not dangerous, but flapping bodywork is gonna be annoying if nothing else.
My other problem is ive never done anything like this before.
So can anyone offer me some advise on how to fix/ bodge it. Im also going to paint it myself so i want to do a good job!
Thanks!!

i had some fixings broken (once from side to the front fairing) of when i bought mine so i used captive nuts to as a replacement and quick steel to hold them in place works fine
