Post by the joker »

Hi
I started racing this year on a standard zxr 400 h done very well for my first year getting 3 top ten finish'es i came 17th in the campionship, I would like to be fighting closer to the front next year but will need to up the power at the moment she is making 57.7 hp on the dyno ,i would like to get between 65 and 70 hp out of it for next year , my plan was to get the cams ground down put new pistons and rings in reseat the valves go with full ramair system, would i get the extra power i'm looking for by doin this i dont want to change the bike it handle's to good any info would be great cheers

all the changes you sugested will help. the ram air is the quickest and cheapest mod. make sure you get a box for the H and not the L, AMS made me a good box for my H a few years back, added 5 bhp on the dyno.

good luck.
