ZXR400 Handling/Braking improvement

Post by mark400 »

Just taken this front end off my SP - Amazingly it just fits straight into the zxr L frame with no other changes.

A cheap alternative to buying these parts individually :

SP forks to get adjustable comp damping

GSXR Calipers to get proper brakes !

Dymag front wheel - To save unsprung weight

Light discs - To save unsprung weight

They K6 front end is light years ahead of the ZXR setup, and the brakes are massively powerful. The wheel & discs together are extremely light and I reckon weigh less than my Dymags, and the front tyre is the same for zxr400 or GSXR, it's a 120/70.

I am only selling as I have a load of home improvements to pay for oldman
