i might head down thursday or friday, so many stands to visit!I hope we get free parking, last month they wanted £8 to park the car, but my bike got in free.
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).

would it be cycnical of me to say that the nec allow them to run the event in midwinter so that more people come in cars not bikes? I mean, if you had say 100,000 people turn up over 5 days on bikes instead of cars, the nec would loose out on over £700,000. i mean, how can they make ends meet when they're only charging £17 entry, and also charging the stall holders to attend? Maybe the NEC should be sponsored by Captain Morgan's Rum.

i went up over the weekend, parking is £8 on the day for cars. you might be right about doing it in winter time to make people drive but also dont forget you cant bring home loads of goodies if you ride up there.
was a good show lots of stalls and bikes to look at and plenty of girls obviously
lots of 'celebrity' bikers around as well signing posters etc.
