Decided to fit the BEET back on today and while the RPM was off got in about the engine with some degreaser and a wire wool soap pad, didn't go too crazy with the cleaning but it's encouraged me to keep picking away at it
The nice thing with running about without the side cowls on it's given me a clear idea of how I want to build my next one - not going to be a street fighter per say but it wont have the original front or side cowls on it. I have a Xanthius engine earmarked for the build that needs ripped down and the gear selector shaft swapped out for a ZXR one and I might as well put in some SP gears along with cutch and adjustable cams Once I try the DIC out I'll know what zorst to keep for it too. Hope to start that build thread late Spring just before the rainy season kicks in
Anyhoo , back to today and here's how it's looking:

Yip, I guess that's all it does apart from a bit of extra bling

Re: BEET back on
a lot blingier than my "rip the sensor out of spare speedo and glue in box" de-restricting solution... looking as shiny as ever, mori-man...
