Hi all this is my zxr250 after 2year rebuild

Post by greenmachine »

Hi all I'm new on here and just I'd post a few pics I had on my computer will upload more later on

this was after 2years painful labour sanding grinding and polishing every alloy part I could get my hands on and all small parts like took minimum of two hour to do and the main frame I lost track
but I think would easily be 100hrs plus to get it looking like that

hope you like it and look forward to some comments

Cant wait to get the stick coil mod done if someone could help me with the wiring

Ps these things are rockets.....

Going to be even quicker when the chain and carb's are on :smt002

Frame does look stonking - should make effort and re-do mine confuddled

Apart from that when it's proper Lime Green again it will be sorted :smt005 :smt003

Keep the pics a coming :smt004

They are back on now, and after a week of trying everyday to get it running with flames shooting out the exhaust, backfiring and shattering 1 starter motor :smt013 it finally decided to come back to life after 2 years in pieces

and the green paint was an attempt of copying the new er6 colour the plain lime green just doesn't cut it for me.

future plans carbon fibre tank, front mud guard and zx6r stick coils.

can someone point me in the right direction with wiring up the coils.

Good to hear its up and running again :smt004

Use the search function for stick coil mod - one of my threads.

Tease you with some carbs to make those flames better :smt003

Which would lead to fitting one of these

yeah maybe clear would look cool but reckon would cost shocking $300 to $500 shocking a peice as no one makes them and you would have to make your own mould.

the whole fairing kit with windscreen, mirrors, stickers and 7pc fairing kit in custom green as pictured in my post only cost me $490 from china that's bout $1000 cheaper than having my originals fixed and painted here in australia.

what's with the chewy hat comment confuddled
