hi guys...........just purchased a zxr 400 (L1) .......after downsizing from a zxr900 b2........and a kr1 before that.......she needs a bit of tlc and possibly some parts over the coming winter,but i want to get her t'n' t'd first while the weather is still half decent..............looking forward to becoming a regular on the forum.....a little bit on myself....now in my mid 40's(stop laughing at the back.lol).ridden 2smokes most of my biking life,LC's,YPVS's,X7's etc,etc....zx9 was biggest owned,but a bit too much of an animal,.......also own a jap import VR4(mitsi)...........

Hello Dave, welcome to the forum.
40s is a good age. We need more 40s forum members to keep these young bucks in check, tell them straight when they're talking balls, and show them how to fix their bikes
You've had some interesting bikes, real classics in there. Shame about the smell.........
I'm in Doncaster, not a million miles away from Hessle. I get to Squires Cafe in Sherburn regularly when the weather is fit, Olivers Mount etc. We seem to have a number of ZXRs within blasting distance of Squires, it would be good to invade the place one Sunday and put faces to names.
You'd better post a picture of your bike up - use the upload attachment tab at the foot of the page - or people will get grumpy

thanx andy for the welcome...i was beginning to think i was gonna be black balled.lol.....will get some pics up,as she is in a bit of a state of neglect,but good news she has just passed her mot today with a list of advisories.....but she will be stripped over winter and made good with some nice new parts etc and a new colour scheme...just need to decide if i'm going to do any airbrushing on her..........agree with you about us 'oldies'....had the same banter on the KR forum.....cant beat it...

but u might wanna sack ur photographer coz he only seems to get half the bike in each shot...lol!

welcome to the forum, try resizing your pics in imageshack or using the uploader here.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.
