having problems with clutch biting point, routed it right i think but i'm not too sure, can anyone assist with a picture at all? i've fed it all through but the cable seems too long?
the alternate is my plates are on they're way out but its a new cable and i don't think i've routed it right at all - old cable was routed wrongly aswell.
i am on a H model as well
thanks!

Re: Cutch Cable?
It seems the L cable could be longer than the Hs
They both have different part numbers and after removing my RC-Engineering one I discovered it was longer than the standard one - doh!
Most likely the culprit of my dodgy clutch , all sorted now though
H cable: 54011-1291
L Cable: 54011-1273
MM!

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Re: Cutch Cable?
cheers Andy, thats helped a lot, i'll reroute it in the morning!
Drew, i read that the H was longer? can't remember where though, nearly got the bike sorted now, just the case of tyres that need replacing as do fork seals, this clutch has made it a set back though, no idea why it's got so much slack either!

Re: Cutch Cable?
Throttle cables are longer on H , L go through the frame making them shorter.
I'll keep ya straight
Anyhoo, the shorter cable works a treat on my H
MM!

Re: Cutch Cable?
lol doing a fine job of it mate! As long as i can restore most of it and find out how things should be then im happy! The bike under the fairing was a bit of a state so she has had a good check over and i'll be definitely be trying to get everything to how it should be under there! Just annoyed at how naff my phone is! Cant download any files or load up the forum properly, even when linked up to wi-fi
I'll reroute the cable and see how it goes, it's near enough whats shown in that picture only its going outside as opposed to thru and under, hopefully that'll take away the slack and i can have a proper clutch! Managed to fit the levers on too - fake pazzo's, all i can say is, what a piece of kit! Better quality than standard, and with how the clutch cable is, you can really fine tune the slack with the span adjuster, great piece of kit, highly recommend!
