So I'm not afraid to admit it, I've made a mistake. I'm not sure what I've done but advice is welcomed to avoid it again!
I recently swapped the clutch basket on my zxr as the old one was rattling, after doing this the clutch wouldnt bite. I just got around to taking it apart to investigate and I found this:
I've obviously done something quite wrong!
Advice guys?
P.S if anyone has a spare I'm after one.

Re: Broken my clutch
They were sat inside the centre hub of the clutch. Not anywhere for them to go fortunatley. Also the bike was only ran for about 5 minutes since and not ridden (as there is no clutch...)

Aint seen you for a whiler 400er. Arent there 4 bolts that go in those holes? Any chance of overtightening? May well be that before you put it in it was already damaged?

Re: Broken my clutch
You haven't aligned the plate to the inner hub properly.
Look at the workshop manual it shows you two marks you need to align right. When you torque up the mounting bolts it will press the pressure plate in properly.
Not aligned it "floats " and as you rev up the engine the pressure plate feels the full grunt of the engine hence the mounting point failure.
When installing the frictions also note to offset the last one too.
