Searching e-bay for anything is a black art you need a good understanding of how searches work.
For example lets imagine you need a part for your zxr 400 if you type "zxr400" in to the search you will get a set of results sound easy?
Howeer if you type in "zxr 400" (note the space) you will get a different set of results.
You got to think laterally.
Also when selling make sure your title includes both zxr400 and zxr 400 that way you maximise the number of searches your auction will appear in.
Also some people just don't know the correct name for items they are selling so some times I search using just zxr or gsxr now that will give you far too many results to look through but you can select only items ending in the next hour or two. I managed to buy a hugger for my gsxr for a pound plus postage using that method the seller had described it as a "shock protector" and with 25 minutea to go it had no bids. Because no one had seen it ! Normally huggers sell for £25 plus.
And watch out for sellers over charging for postage they will tell you it first class and charge for that then send it by standard parcels for half the price.
