Exhaust identification

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Post by coley »

This exhaust system came off my ZXR400 race bike and i was wondering if anyone knew what make it is and what it would be worth?

Those balance cans are so " Yoshimura " but having never seen a Yoshimura ever for the ZXR4 I doubt it is.

If bike was a Grey import from Japan most likely a Suzuka maker (there are wheens of small makers around the circuit ) Daishin / DIC also use this type of balance can on the headers.

Recently I got a PSK system and that has a two piece link pipe too , so it looks to marry a lot of concepts together - ever had it on a Dyno ?

Would recommend a 100mm Diameter can with 60mm opening with a 500mm long sleeve on it :smt004
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

Hello

Cant say much on the exhaust but intrigued by the comment ' came off my race bike' are you splitting your bike? I dont suppose you have an SP gearbox going?

Cheers
