Hi all,
Bear with me as the buildup is a little slow.. here goes..
I started down the road to bikes about 6-7 years ago after finally convincing my girlfriend to let me
do my full bike license and shortly after that, I bought my first bike.. A 1998 ZX6R which I loved.
That was until about 12 months later when I came off it at high speed injuring myself badly and writing
the bike off.. After a while I got the itch and courage to get back on a bike and after a test ride on a
2006 Aprilia RSV. I was fine and started looking for something.
I bought a 2003 Kawasaki ZZR1200 in silver and loved it.. after getting used to it, I did my first ever
track day on it at Mallory Park. I loved it but at the end of that day.. I was knackered.. The next day I
couldn't walk.. Too big especially for Mallory..
As for long road trips, I needed something comfier so I bought myself a brand new V-strom 650 which is
also my commuter bike for everyday use..
Something was missing though !
And this is where the ZXR400 comes in. I have made my decision that this will be what I will look for..
just a donor bike which I can work on and build into a tracktool.
Thanks for being patient and I hope to get lots of idea's from the forum for my project
