Whats it worth ?

Im tempted to sell my zxr400 l8. Thinkin of selling it as i wanna clear some debts and bein honest my heart no in the bike any more (only had 2 months!) Well its a W-reg zxr400 l8, mot till next month, 14750 miles (approx) has had a few mods carbon can, braided front hoses, at the moment the fairing is ready to paint but will be painted b4 sale. What you think its worth ?

bearing in mind there are the few around that year advertised for £1500 i would say its gotta be worth £2300? what dya think guys?

hard to say, u need a hardcore zxr luver to pay over 2k for a zxr, most zxr's in good nick are around 1500, ebay it and see what happens,

and i'm saying that price with original fairings, as yours is in need of paint how are you painting it? obviously depends on the quality of paintwork.

your also get a fair amount more if you put 12 months mot on it, as i notice you say 1 month left, that could drop the price of your bike, even into a couple of hundred, mots are worth there weight in gold, its how we all judge vehicles espech when it comes to ebay for instance, all them cars with almost no mot, wouldnt go near them,

I noticed when I was looking for my ZXR about 3 months ago that all the L models were between 1400 and 2000, a garage near me wanted £2000 for an L3 import which had been repaired from a minor crash, but still had a big dent in the tank. In the end I bought my L3 which is a UK bike for £1475 privately, and all it needed was a service, new front discs and new master cylinder, which has cost about £325, so all together the bike cost me about £2000.

Not really sure what my points is there but you know........
