hi all well i was just wondering if any of you guys knew of any deals that yamaha do idealy 0% finance and a yrs free insurance on the R6 im calculating weather it might be cheaper to get a deal like that with a huge deposit! but im not sure yamaha do that i know suzuki do.
Remember speed kills, so does smoking, drinking, drugs, fast food and many more good things

Hmm... 0% for how long???

Generally, if you take any 'deal' from a bike shop you're an idiot.

Check the rates and FULL repayment amount, and then compare them to just about any normal bank. I've never heard of one being anywhere near as low as what you'd pay for getting a bank loan.

Mayyyyyyyyyybe the insurance would offset this and even it out - but look into it very carefully, because bike shops do this to make money, and they'll happily rip you off much more than even a bank will!

yea i think that but i wouldnt do it unless i got 0% over say 30 or 36 months i recon, with the insurance that would be enough i recon.

Just be aware that if you finance a bike, and decide to sell it before you have paid the finance off it will show up on an HPI check.

I got offered 6.9%APR when I bought my gixxer, I decided against it in favour of a 7.9%APR bank loan purely because the bank loan wasnt secured on the bike! and it only made a difference of a couple of quid overall
