my zxr

Post by kwackkev22 »

heres a few pictures of my zxr from over the 3 years ive had it the wheels are odd at the moment i fancyed a change and went with black for the back wheel but i think iam gonner go back to green ive done the wheels my self and it takes ages from scratch to do and i was very dirty when i had finished its a labour of love :smt007 lol.ive had 4 diffrent end cans on the bike if you include the one that came on it.at the moment it has the carbon one on and sounds loads better than the stainless micron one.theres a pic of her when shes not at her best had the engine out due to the cam digging a small pit in the rocker arm and the engine was ticking like mad but a new cam and a few rocker arms later it sounded sweet again oh and a new cam chain chaged the head gasket as well while the motor was out (yes it mite not have needed doing but what the hell lol lets not start a big debate on the head gasket again)
heres the pics :smt006

no mate i just sprayed the sproket gold :smt011 but it looks loads better than the rust patches that where there its held up nicely really.as for the swing arm lol paddock stands are crap ive got a micron one and the rubber cups that hold the bike dont fit the swing arm to well so i have to use them back to front and my micron sticker couldnt even hide the scratches :smt011
it could do with being powder coated really as the paint is flaking off in patches all over the swing arm
