Couple fo questions

Post by tng21 »

Right to sort my "play" out on my throttle, im hoping someone can explain what i would need to do. Rob said about the locating pin.
RedexRobB wrote:As for the throttle, is it the cable that has the play, or the switchgear? If its the switch gear the locating pin on the inside may have broken when the bike fell causing it to move. If its the cable i dunno why it would do that, but adjust it out and see how it goes.

Now coz im pretty dim when it comes to sortin out bikes being new to em, im hoping someone can pretty much explain, would be even better with pics, what i need to do in each step please. ( i know im hoping with the pics but i visiually understand if you know what i mean lol )

Does, or how hard would it be to fit a L model subframe? Some other ars ends fit the L model sf if ive read correctly.

I found a link to ebay off another thread about H model fairing from chine. do you think they're any good to buy? i mean how long do yoy think they're gonna last compared to oe ones

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=016

And does anyone have a pair of levers, just normal bare matel ones, so i can polish em and put on mine

l model subframe on an H isnt going to work, as far as alternative seat units, you'll be making up brackets anyway, so work round the H subframe :)

the chinese plastics look ok, certainly good value compared to OE or fibreglass stuff you'll still have to paint
