engine transplant
Hi, Stephen here, based in ireland and new to the forum. Wondering if any of you can help me with my engine trouble. Blew an engine on a zxr400l last year and let it sit until now, stripped engine down and came to conclusion that it would be quicker and more economical to just replace entire engine. Just wondering if anyone can tell me where to look for one. how much am I looking at spending and is there any other block that will fit this frame. Thanks

Re: engine transplant
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Ebay is a good place for engines, as is one of our resident member ZXR breakers 'falloffslowly' aka Baz who should have one in stock. Price will depend on mileage, i paid 50 quid for a non runner to mess about with, but i think you can pay upto 400 quid for a running low mileage motor, plus postage if you buy from the UK.
You can call him on 07727 943464
