can you convert total loss?

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Total loss is no charging system.most should still have starter and start off button you just need to charge the batt more often.

Thanks, i thought it meant that there is no ignition and you always had to bump start it

weight reduction and the engine will spin up faster (removal of the crankshaft mounted rotor). Wiring loom then simplified and no need for a regulator as there is no charging currnet to regulate (more weight saved)

Whenever mine is not on the track, it is on the Optimate.
The battery will not just discharge, but become unusable if you don't charge it regularly. I used to just put the charger on every few days or so, but now just leave the Optimate on.

Not extreme at all but only worth doing if you are racing otherwise a total pain in the butt if you are just road use
