Wow! How time fly's by
The bike has gone through a fair transformation since the last photo in this thread.

In the process of making a carbon alloy dash to set the digital speedo and rev counter into.
17" Rear Wheel conversion:
For a long time I was wanting to do this and still needed to pick up the caliper and hanger from a ZXR too. The torque arm was going to always be tricky but as luck would have it I found a ZXR one which had been converted for fitment onto the ZRX

- finding a half decent rear brake set-up was proving to be more difficult.
I was resolving my self to the fact that i would need to come up with something myself and the catalyst was the opportunity of a cheap un-used rear Brembo caliper

. Then the Grey matter kicked in and plans were set a foot
So, if your wanting to fit a rear Brembo on your ZXR you should be able to follow this same set-up and just use your existing torque arm, the spacers are more than likely a different size from what you'll need on the ZXR.
Parts used:
17" ZXR400H Wheel
ZXR400L Hub with cush drive.
ZXR400H inner hub bearing spacer.
ZX-6R 525 pitch 42T sprocket.
Active Brembo caliper adapter - ZRX11/1200
Two custom SS spacers.
Two SS straps with alloy spacers for torque arm.
ZRX400 spindle. (ZXR400 OK)
ZXR400H rear Disc
(carbon sheet in background for new dash)
1st task was to do a "dry" fit and measure up what spacers I needed to get made, you can see the ZXR torque arm;
Then off to the machine shop and got these made;
Then I refurbished the disc and gave it a fresh coat of Gold, fitted some cone head SS bolts into the caliper and done a test fit of the new spacers;
Next day I was waiting for a shipment to be picked up (4 x RG400 engines 1 x RG500 , exhausts and other parts - 320Kg's of the stuff !!) so back out and got everything fitted up;
Wasn't happy about the torque arm so went down the local DIY centre and picked up some SS straps. The paddock stand bobbin was removed, drilled and tapped in the back and re-fitted.
So here is how it is looking now
Some of the other parts;
